We are a registered not-for-profit association (reg no:06840201) helping to rescue and rehabilitate animals in both England, Gibraltar and Southern Spain.

We work in conjunction with other animal shelters both rescuing and neutering both dogs and street cats. We send our animals to lovely forever homes both in England and Switzerland (as well as homing locally) and specialize in helping animals who are older or ill - the ones that people pass by.

Many of the animals that we help are animals from the street, welfare cases, or ones who have been given ten days until they are cruelly killed in the pounds. We do everything we can to help these poor little things and would love to hear from anybody who can help us, in whatever way - we really need help so that we can help more animals who are waiting for our help.

We try to not turn animals away, especially the sick and old ones who cannot find help anywhere else - and they often end their days happily at Shady Paws, our old animals home.

Sadly, we just don't have the funds to keep taking animals in and we have a huge waiting list. We never put an animal to sleep unless it is incurably ill (and not enjoying life) or has aggression problems that we can't solve. Most aggression problems can be solved with specialist training, and we do everything we can to turn difficult animals into relaxed, happy ones.

We would love some more support to help us help more animals.
